Summer Reading Now: Devil’s Kiss

When browsing in the library I came across this book named Devil’s Kiss. It’s the debut novel by Sarwat Chadda and it seems to be the first to a sequel.  The author’s name caught my attention in the first place and then related to the title for an instance I found out of the ordinary.  But I should think out of the box. Nowadays the subject you write about, doesn’t have to be an extension of one’s ethnicity.

The book is highly entertaining and reads like you’re on a rollercoaster. A fifteen year old girl, member of a modern order of Templars, goes into battle with the Archangel Michael to save the first-born children of London. On the long run she begins to wonder if she is cut out to be a Knights Templar, what her father trained her to be. She only wants to have a normal life. Do stuff what a girl her age does. There’s a lot of fighting evil going on in the book and some bloody scenes. The story is exciting and reveals on the long run the real purpose of  Billi SanGreal. But more when I review the book.
